31 Days of Horror Reviews 2018: The Universal Monsters
Last year, I decided on a whim to watch and review 31 horror films for the month of October and posting my thoughts on my Facebook page. It was fun to analyze ones that I’ve seen and enjoyed before as well experience new films like: Get Out, The Babadook and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1976). The frustrating part about picking which movie to watch was that I had no clear direction or theme.
This year is going to be different. After reviewing The Mummy movies last year, I decided that for next year I would review the Universal Monsters films, the originals and their remakes.
The Universal Monsters are a staple of not only the Horror genre but to the cinema as a whole with iconic performances, Gothic imagery and impressive set pieces that have left such a lasting impact on the rest of the world.
